Would you like your child to get more involved with reading but the library is just too far? Or your book options are simply limited? Well then, get to know a little about Epic! Epic! Is an online reading platform that was designed to make books more accessible to kids. It was created to inspire a love of reading and storytelling in young minds. Through subscription-based memberships, Epic! provides kids and their teachers with reading tools that will help strengthen their reading skills and cultivate their love for reading. On the platform, kids have access to audio books, graphic novels, reading videos, and quizzes.

With over 40,000 books, Epic! offers books a vast range of genres that can be customized to the reader’s interest. Some of the genres offered are fiction, fantasy, narratives, and history. Epic even offers audio books in read-to-me format. The site is designed to cater for the seasoned book lovers, novices, and people who just love listening to stories.

Epic! offers books in several languages including English, Chinese, and French. Although Epic! is accessed through a paid monthly or yearly subscription, the online library is free to educators and students during school days from 7am to 3pm. On the website, you can log in as a parent, student, or educator. An educator can log in and then put in their class code to offer their students free access to epic during school hours.

Parents can also create their own accounts for epic! From there, they can put in their child’s class code and see all the readings assigned to their kid. This way, they can be better involved and help keep track with classroom assignments. A parent account is also great because it lets parents take the reading beyond the classroom; parents can read with their child at home and help solidify their child’s love for reading.
